Daniel Alvarado LPC-S, LCDC
Hello and welcome to my website. Thank you for taking the time to get to know about me. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor by the State of Texas. I graduated with a Masters in Clinical Psychology from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I have more than 10 years of experience working in the field of mental health and I am still amazed by the resiliency people have to overcome adversity and trauma. I am passionate to work with individuals, couples, and parents with children with special needs.
Therapy is a collaborative relationship, in which both the therapist and client engage in “team work thinking.” In team work thinking the client brings, in depth and the fullest possible sample of her mental content to share and process with the therapist. As your therapist, I will help you challenge negative thoughts that hinder your personal growth, and to acknowledge and think meaningfully about how to cope with emotions that would otherwise subtly and covertly interfere with connecting to a better you.
I work in person and online to provide flexibility and availability. If you think you are ready to start this process, give me a call and let’s explore alternatives and ways on how to get you where you want to be. You can see my availability and schedule an appointment in the following link: https://daniel-alvarado.clientsecure.me
